Lumen street theatre has developed The Samhain, Limerick Halloween Festival. The Festival is aimed to bring focus on Limerick and Irish traditions using visual spectacle and storytelling, to create new memories to be shared within the community. The starting point of the festival comes from ”Drunken Thady and the Bishop’s Lady” a poem traditional to Limerick and written in the1800’s. This project was in collaboration with lumen street theatre to develop a neckpiece inspired by the poem and the irish tradition of samhain.
