ALL ABOUT CAILÍN RUA DESIGNS

Hi there, My name is Ellen Greenan and I am the creator of Cailín Rua Designs. Cailín Rua is Irish for the red girl and it is a huge part of my identity.
I am currently in my third year of undertaking a bachelor’s of honours degree in Fashion and textiles for product and costume design in Limerick school of art and design. 
My work is heavily influenced by the nature and lands surrounding my home in rural Monaghan. My love for nature and upbringing in rural Ireland has enforced my passion for using more sustainable methods in my design work and textile creations.
